Accessibility Statement

ParaPride celebrates the LGBTQ+ disabled community. We make events, workshops and research accessible to everyone, so that every LGBTQ+ disabled person can feel pride in who they are.

We are dedicated to working with venues demonstrating a commitment to accessibility and inclusion.  Whilst understanding there is no such thing as fully accessible and there is never a one size fits all, we strive to ensure our values shine through in every event.

On this page, we will outline how we ensure accessibility and inclusion throughout our events.  For access information for specific events, (including directions, transportation, venue), please click here to visit our Events page.

ParaPride celebrates the identities of the people within our community.  We strive to ensure that this is reflected in the language that we use. To that end, we have created an inclusive language glossary. To view this glossary, click here
