Pride Celebrations
Pride Celebrations are important events for a lot of LGBTQ+ people and are an amazing opportunity to showcase ParaPride's cause.
While the level of accessibility of these events is generally improving, there is still along way to go. Through participation, consultation and feedback we look to partner with organisers to support these events to become ever more inclusive.
ParaPride is committed to creating inclusive, accessible and enjoyable events in safe environments for our intersectional disabled LGBTQ+ community, as well as for our friends and supporters. We aim to create experiences where our community can be together, feel empowered and be visible.
We deliver a range of in-person and online workshops, networking, entertainment and social events throughout the year and also partner and participate in third party events in support making them more inclusive.
In 2025, we're also launching a collaborative awareness campaign: Intersectionality Awareness Week, which we'll share more information on soon!
